What happens to what you upload.
Bradwell holds client documents. That deserves a plain answer rather than a policy you have to decode. This page describes what actually happens, in the order it happens.
Where your documents live
When you upload a source, the file itself is stored in Bradwell's managed file storage and its text is stored in Bradwell's database. Both are hosted infrastructure that Bradwell operates. Your documents are not copied to any other storage.
Every record carries the identity of the account that owns it, and the database enforces that boundary on every read. No other Bradwell customer can retrieve, search, or cite your files.
Which services read your documents
Two outside services process document text, and only these two.
Anthropic receives passages from your case file when Bradwell drafts a section, extracts a caption, or answers a question in the Planner. Anthropic's commercial terms for API traffic do not permit training on the content you send.
Mistral reads scanned pages that need optical character recognition, and builds the search index that lets Bradwell find the right passage in a long file. Bradwell uses Mistral's paid tier, and the training opt-out on the account is off. Mistral processes scanned pages on servers in the EU and retains them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. You can turn scanned-document reading off entirely in Settings; documents that are already text continue to work normally.
Nothing else sees a document. There is no legal research database behind Bradwell, no analytics service reading your files, and no third party receiving your case materials.
What Bradwell can see
As the operator, Bradwell can see account-level information: the account name, the owner's email address, subscription status, how many tokens the account has used, and when it was last active. That is what the operator view returns and it is all it returns.
The contents of your case files, your drafts, and your Planner conversations are not part of that view.
Deleting a document
Removing a source deletes it. The database record and the stored file are both destroyed. It is not archived, hidden, or retained in a recoverable state.
What Bradwell will not do
Bradwell does not sell data, does not share documents with other customers, and does not use your case files to improve the product for anyone else. Your work product is yours.
